ATTENTION TO THE IMMUNE SYSTEM!

“Our immune system is responsible for protecting our body. When our immune system detects a pest that can threaten our body, it reacts to eliminate that threat. In these moments of reaction, we feel symptoms such as malaise, weakness, fever, loss of appetite, malaise, muscle aches, weakness, and lack of energy.

Our immune system has a very complex structure. Their reactions differ according to the situation they are in and how they interact. In other words, the immune system may not always respond in the same way. The situation the person is in determines the intensity and duration of the reaction. For example, while situations such as high stress, rapid growth, nutritional deficiency, excessive fatigue, negative habits such as smoking and alcohol, and sudden seasonal changes affect the immune system responses, the immune system responses are more moderate in a person who has a balanced diet, is not exposed to high stress, rests well and exercises. and it is suitable.

WE MUST RE-ADJUST OUR NUTRITION!
The first thing to do as we enter autumn is to readjust our diet. Most of us follow a diet that is more calorie-rich and low in fresh vegetables and fruits during the winter months. But this is not recommended behavior. First of all, the amount of vegetables and fruits in the diet should be increased and the amount of fat should be reduced. Instead of a large amount of food in one meal, a regular nutrition program with snacks should be preferred. Adequate fluid consumption is also important. Although mostly water can be preferred, milk and dairy products can also be consumed. Contrary to popular belief, increasing tea and coffee consumption does not mean increasing fluid consumption.

SLEEP AS WE NEED!
Ensuring sleep patterns is another important issue. We should not change the sleep pattern we are used to. The amount of sleep that everyone needs is different. We should go to bed at the usual time and sleep as much as we need. As well as under-sleeping, over-sleeping can also make us feel worse.

Sport, sport, sport…

Weather conditions and the gradual shortening of the day limit our movement. What needs to be done is to continue doing sports, especially walking. It is expected that autumn fatigue will be seen less in those who do regular sports. Mental stresses are another cause of autumn fatigue. Sports activities that can reduce stress, social activities and spending more time outdoors will be beneficial. We should not forget that the sun's rays and brightness have positive effects on our souls.

Supportive vitamins and natural additives are one of the most curious subjects. These additives can be used when necessary. It is known that nowadays the use of supplements, known as natural medicines, has increased a lot, and they are mostly used uncontrolled. Regardless of the support product, it will always be healthier to use it in consultation with the doctor.

Those with chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, asthma, allergies, kidney disease and diabetes should have a doctor's check-up before entering the season. With the rearrangement of their treatment, they can spend this period more comfortably.”
